Uganda blocks used clothes imports, could lose AGOA status

Uganda says it is standing by its position to ban the importation of used clothing. This is against a threat by the U.S. that it could lose privileges under the African Growth and Opportunity Act, AGOA. Uganda and other East African member countries resolved to outlaw the importation of used clothes and shoes across the region by 2019. CGTN’s Michael Baleke reports
